The privacy promise

The short version

You pay us $10 a year; in return, you are the customer and not the product. We don't run ads, we don't sell or share your data with anyone, and we don't use third-party trackers or analytics. We store the minimum needed to run the app, and we delete all of it when you ask.

What we store

• Your email address — used to sign you in (magic links) and, rarely, to reach you about your account. Never for marketing lists.
• Your tasks, lists, and reminders — the content you create, stored so it syncs across your devices. Protected so only your signed-in account can read or change it.
• Push subscription tokens — one per device where you enable notifications, so your reminders can reach you. Removed automatically when a device unsubscribes.
• Google Calendar access, only if you connect it — see below.

If you connect Google Calendar

We store the access tokens Google gives us and use them for exactly two things: showing your upcoming events inside your agenda, and creating or updating calendar events for tasks you explicitly flag for your calendar. We don't read other Google data, we don't store copies of your events beyond what's displayed, and disconnecting in the app menu revokes our access. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

What we don't do

• No ads, ever.
• No selling, renting, or sharing your data with anyone.
• No third-party trackers or analytics scripts.
• No AI training on your content — your tasks aren't anyone's dataset.
• No reading your data ourselves, except with your permission to fix a problem you've reported.

Who holds the data

The app runs on established infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database and sign-in), with web push delivered through your device's push service (Google or Apple). They process data on our behalf to run the service — nothing more.

Your data, your call

Want an export or a full deletion? Email support@ownmyday.app from your account address and it's done — deletion removes your account and everything in it. Questions about any of this reach a person at the same address.
